HTML5 Security
HTML5 is ushering in a new and exciting era of application-enabled development for the web. But does it bring with it a new suite of security issues for the web developer to be aware of?
This session, with security expert Glyn Wintle, presents an entertaining exploration of the security implications of HTML5 (such as with web forms, CORS, web sockets and WebGL), as well as the perennial browser security staples (like clickjacking and missing character sets) that are essential learning for every web developer.
Glyn is a key member of the Open Rights Group and is currently building a startup, LinkedGov, to make it easier for Government to become more open and transparent.
