'Die, Stormtrooper, Die' by JD Hancock

With Angry Birds, Command & Conquer and other big-name games being created using Web technologies, it's obvious that HTML5 and JavaScript games here to stay.

In this talk, Rob Hawkes will cover the state of game development for the Web; highlighting key events and technologies, as well as shedding light on what is coming in the near future.

Rob thrives on solving problems through code. He has an addiction to visual programming and can't get enough of HTML5 and JavaScript. He's a Technical Evangelist at Mozilla and leads the games side of their work within the developer community. He's the author of Foundation HTML5 Canvas and co-author of HTML5 Games Most Wanted.
