Have you got a little something to share? Either something cool that you’ve seen, or a pet project of your own? Come and tell us all about it, in 4 minutes (+ 3 mins for questions).

Perhaps we’ll have a look at some of the highlights from the 1KB JavaScript competition.
We’ve run a Show n’ Tell before – you may want to see what the people demoed there.

Let us know in the comments below if there’s something you’d like to show, or if you have any questions.

Hi Prem, I have added this event to Lanyrd for you: http://lanyrd.com/2010/asyncjs-september/ Nat :)

    Aha! Thanks Nat.

Hi Prem, I’d like to stop by and give a brief overview of CASSIS ( http://cassisproject.com ) if that’s ok.

How many folks typically show-up at these things? What’s the capacity?

    Hi Tantek,
    That would be fantastic.

It’s a pretty cosy venue. Up to around 25 people (more if standing and/or squished).

Simon gave a great talk at the first Async about node.js. I keep dipping in and out and watching how the technology is developing so I thought it would be cool to share my experiences and give a bit of an update on the node community now that the core library has stabilised.

So come along if you want to hear whats new in node.

I’ve started butting together a little bookmarklet to help make the lack of ‘view-source’ on the iPad and other Mobile Safari-based devices a little less painful to web devs.

It’s *very* early days but I’d love to give a very quick demo and gather feedback from people on what they’d like to see added to it, how the structure could be improved, made more modular etc.

I can talk about Disco Snake, the hack I built at Music Hackday if people are interested.

I’m thinking to talk about the byte-squeezing techniques I used in my 1KB JavaScript app:

Jon, Mark and Jim – great stuff! Looking forward to it.

Assuming my PC doesn’t die and I don’t kill my project, might demo a little app I’ve been working on for fun, its a collaborative art plugin for Joomla based on Canvas.

Hrm, hrm… or perhaps I’ll talk about “Sandie”: http://github.com/premasagar/sandie – a little sandboxing script that lets you create mutliple JavaScript contexts in the browser (useful for containing potentially malicious code, or preventing conflicts between third-party scripts).

    Any preference, anyone?

Hi there, I can quickly demo a small SVG based visualisation I’ve build a while ago. Nothing to fancy, but I believe it illustrates some of the exciting possibilities of SVG scripting..

A bit short notice – but I could give a quick demo of Brandwatch, if anybody can lend me his pc!

Fabrice – great. I’m sure that can be arranged…
